WordPress Website Design for Bergdorf's Flowers
Bergdorf’s Flowers is a London wedding and events florist with a decade-long relationship with Kew Gardens as a preferred supplier. Katja Berg also creates flowers for events, TV and film productions including work for HBO, and operates across South West London and beyond. The business had been running successfully for years on reputation alone, but the website told a completely different story.
When Katja first came to me in 2021, her site was around 15 years old. It had a handful of pages, roughly 15 images and almost nothing worked. For a florist whose entire business depends on showing people what she can create, it was a serious problem. There was no way for her to add new work, no structure to her services and no way for a potential client landing on the site to understand what she did or why they should book her.
I rebuilt it from scratch with a custom WordPress theme designed around how her business actually works.

The new site launched in November 2024. Comparing the ten months before launch against the same period after, the results are significant.

Katja reports a substantial increase in enquiries since the new site went live. Her Kew Gardens weddings have increased and she now has a platform that reflects the quality of her work and keeps growing as she adds new projects.
She’s been a client since 2021. The website, blog and Instagram are all managed on an ongoing basis, so as her business grows, the site grows with it.
